ABOUT ME
Providing psychological treatment since 2013
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with experience treating PTSD, anxiety disorders (including specific phobias and panic disorder), depression, and insomnia, and I specialize in working with adults with ADHD. Additionally, I hold a fine arts degree and often work with clients seeking to advance creative pursuits, and to overcome blocks in the creative process.

I completed my PhD at Binghamton University, where I conducted research on trauma processes and dissociation. I continued to focus on trauma treatment during my clinical internship at the Department of Veterans Affairs in New Jersey while gaining experience treating many other psychological conditions affecting Veterans there. After completing internship, I continued my clinical work at the VA (in South and Central Texas), working in both general mental health and primary care settings over the next five years. Subsequently, I started my own private practice in Austin, Texas, where I worked for several years before returning to New York.

I work with clients of all different backgrounds, including those with complex psychological histories, and I work hard to build an environment in therapy that allows my clients to focus on moving forward. If you are interested in learning more about me or my practice, get in touch with me for a free 15-minute consultation.

WHAT I OFFER
A Flexible Approach to Therapy
I work with every client in a unique way because every client comes to therapy with a unique set of concerns, goals, and expectations. In order to accommodate a wide array of needs, I work using a range of therapeutic approaches (e.g. behavioral, cognitive behavioral, and psychodynamic methods), matching my style to meet those of my clients to form a collaborative, safe, and non-judgmental therapeutic space. This flexible approach to psychotherapy allows me to be consistent in my commitment to bringing the highest standard of care to my clients as they navigate life's challenges, all the while learning to cope better with sadness, anxiety, fear, and pain.

Initial 15-minute consultation is free.
